Diving Trips

Galapagos Sky

Formerly the Sky Dancer motor vessel, the 16-passenger Galapagos Sky is a live-aboard diving ship that was refurbished in 2010 to now offer even more comfortable accommodations and provide the perfect base from which to enjoy the most incredible diving possible in the Galapagos Islands.   The Galapagos Sky “Live-Aboard Diving Cruises” in the Galapagos are 8-day/7-night cruises, with an itinerary offering a total of 17-19 dives (check-out dive included) and three (3) land excursions on every trip.   On every voyage, the vessel travels to Wolf and Darwin Islands, where the diving is arguably the best in the world! Similarly, while diving in the “central islands” of the Galapagos archipelago, you will experience the diversity of Galapagos diving. In addition to mantas, sharks and seasonal Whale sharks, you will be able to photograph Galapagos invertebrates in vibrant color… and keep an eye out for the mola molas!   For your filming needs, the Galapagos Sky has an onboard lab for both photographic and video work, as well as a light table and daily E-6 development. On deck, there’s ample storage space for personal diving equipment and an open deck for sunbathing.   Fully air-conditioned, the Galapagos Sky’s interior features teak paneling and furnishings, a dining area, a fully stocked bar and the main salon with an audio/visual entertainment center.   Accommodations include eight (8) private en-suite cabins with two twin or one king size bed options. Each cabin features a private head/shower, a mirrored cabinet and wardrobe, bathrobes, hairdryer, and marine-safe (biodegradable) toiletries.
