First Class Yachts

Tip Top III Galapagos Yacht

Owned by one of the Galapagos Islands’ oldest families, this first-class cruising vessel holds a reputation for good food, good service and helpful crewmembers during any of its Galapagos Islands cruises.   The Tip Top III motor yacht (M/Y) was built to impeccably high standards in 2001 and was completely refurbished in 2008, re-inventing this spacious, light and comfortable yacht. This allows it to offer some of the best Galapagos Islands cruise itineraries by visiting the most remote places where few other Galapagos yachts visit. The Tip Top III runs fascinating alternating Galapagos itineraries, one week to the northern and western islands of the archipelago and another week covering the southern and central areas. These itineraries can also be combined into a comprehensive 15-day Galapagos cruise!   On these tours, daily land excursions are led by multilingual guides (speaking Spanish, English and German) who are well trained, highly experienced and certified by the Galapagos National Park. Along with the other friendly and professional crewmembers, they will do their very best to make your visit to the “living laboratory” of the Galapagos Islands an unforgettable experience. Each one of them will ensure a safe cruise, as they are well prepared to offer a first-class personalized service.   The ship’s 16 guests are accommodated in 10 tastefully decorated, comfortable cabins – all with ocean views. Another benefit is that eight (8) of the cabins have lower berths, which is an advantage if you’re not thrilled about having to climb up into a top bunk! Each of these cabins is air-conditioned and has a private bathroom (with a hot-water shower, lavatory, washbasin and vanity), a safety box, a locker and drawers. The cabins are also fully carpeted for the passengers’ comfort.   The Tip Top III motor yacht’s spacious social areas — both inside and on the outer deck — include a bar, a dining room, lounge and sun deck. These public areas are fully carpeted, and the beautiful teak floored sun deck creates a delightful place for resting and relaxing on board. So whether you want to watch a movie in the audio-visual room, read in the library, enjoy a delicious dinner in the modern dining room, or have a relaxing drink at the bar, the Tip Top III is sure to please.   In addition to all of this, the company that owns the Tip Top III has become a leader in the Galapagos Islands touristic operations for attaining international certification for its environmental and safety practices. In fact, it was awarded the Smart Voyager Certification for its sound environmental practices.
